Pursuant to Sec. 18-1 of the Code of Ordinances, drinking of alcoholic liquors or beverages and the bringing of such into the park areas shall be permitted only for Village sponsored or sanctioned events and only upon the written authorization by the Parks & Recreation Director.

We do not have a list of preferred caterers, however many are familiar with our park facilities.
Yes, the gazebos at Evelyn Greer Park and Suniland Park are available to rent as a stand alone rental for groups of up to 20 people or in conjunction with the rental of Leslie Bowe Hall for larger groups. The gazebo is equipped with stationary picnic tables. Bounce houses are not permitted with a stand alone gazebo rental. When not reserved, the gazebos are available to park patrons on a first-come, first-served basis. Groups of 10 or more individuals must make a reservation. Reservations may be made through the department's online reservation system or by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at 305.24.0900
All rentals are rain or shine. There will be no refunds given if it rains the day of your event. WEATHER CLAUSE: The Village of Pinecrest holds a rain or shine weather clause. Outdoor activities and events are not dependent upon weather conditions. Where any event has to be canceled by the renter due to poor weather, refunds will not be provided and cannot be moved to another date. Renter cannot set up anywhere else if it is not specified in the permit. For the protection of our patrons and park employees, all park events for the Village of Pinecrest will be canceled during an official “Hurricane Watch” and all monies paid to the Village of Pinecrest will be refunded in full to the patron. We recommend all permit holders visit the parks within 2 weeks after a hurricane strike in order to decide if the facility meets expectations. Playground canopies will be removed in preparation of storms and will be replaced as soon as it is possible. Many times due to storm activity, canopies are not replaced until the end of hurricane season. The park shall not be held liable for removal of canopies or delay of re-installation.
CANCELLATION POLICY: No facility reservation refunds or changes are made unless the Parks and Recreation office receives written notice of cancellation or change at least thirty (30) days in advance. No date changes will be made under thirty (30) days to the reservation. All cancellations under thirty (30) days are subject to a penalty of 100% of the rental fee. A standard service fee of $20 will apply to all cancellations or changes regardless of notice time.

The Community Center is open to Residents and Non-residents, however membership is required to utilize the Community Center Gym.

Refunds: Refunds, less any non-refundable fees, are made only when the Parks and Recreation office receives written notice of cancellation before the first day of the scheduled program. Refunds are not given the day the program begins or thereafter. Cancellations made by the Pinecrest Parks and Recreation Department will be fully refunded.
Make-Up Classes: Classes postponed by the Parks and Recreation Department or the Instructor due to emergencies, holidays or other reasons will be rescheduled by the instructor. Classes missed by the participant will not be refunded or rescheduled.
