The Pinecrest Parks and Recreation Department is proud to host the second annual Pinecrest Senior Games on October 2-6. Participants from all over are invited to compete in sporting events including: pickleball, tennis, bowling, basketball, table tennis, shuffleboard, bowling, billiards, racewalk, badminton, and corn hole.

About the Pinecrest Senior Games

The Pinecrest Senior Games brings athletes over the age of 50 together for a week-long Olympic style competition.  The Pinecrest Senior Games serve as a qualifying event for the Florida Senior Games.  During the week-long competition, athletes compete in one or more sporting events within their age group.  Age categories are separated into five-year age spans, beginning with the 50-54 age group.  If there are too few athletes to participate in a specific age group, the registered athlete(s) can compete with the next closest age group.  This does not disqualify the athlete from qualifying to compete in the Florida Senior Games.  Athletes who qualify to participate in the Florida Senior Games can compete and qualify for the National Senior Games the following year.
