The Administrative Services Division works under the office of the Village Manager and supervises & coordinates activities in all areas of procurement including writing and distribution of all solicitations, pre-bid conferences and ensures the formal bid opening procedures is in compliance with Pinecrest Purchasing Policies and State Statutes.
The Division is also responsible for the administration of different areas including: the circulator bus system (PPM - Pinecrest People Movers), local, state and federal grants, the Emergency Preparedness and Recovery Plan and the Internship program.
Administrative Services Manager
Eduardo Pozas worked for the University of Miami School of Medicine’s Division of Organ Transplantation for 23 years before coming to Pinecrest, where he implemented process improvement procedures, analyzed business flow and automated processes using Lean Six Sigma methodology. Mr. Pozas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Miami Business School.
