The Finance Department is the central fiscal control and accounting agency of the Village government. The department handles the daily financial activities including payroll, accounts payable, revenue collection, cash management, risk management, purchasing, and financial reporting. The Finance Director serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the Village.
The Finance Department spearheads the development of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and the Annual Operating and Capital Budget.

Marie Arteaga-Nariño, MBA
Marie Arteaga-Nariño was appointed by the Village Manager on October 10, 2016. Ms. Arteaga has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and an MBA in Accounting. She is a CPA candidate and a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and South Florida Chapter of Florida Government Finance Officers Association (FGFOA).
