Accessibility

The Village of Pinecrest strives to make this web site accessible to all individuals. The site is designed according to the guidelines and principles of the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). The Village of Pinecrest has chosen Level AA as the target for this website. This website is tested on a periodic basis. Please be aware that our efforts are ongoing.

Additional information about accessibility programs in Florida is available from Florida's Agency for Persons with Disabilities. The agency serves as a central source of information for Floridians with disabilities.

The Village will provide reasonable accommodation to individuals with disabilities who wish to participate in public involvement events or require special assistance accessing facilities, programs, services, or activities. Because providing reasonable accommodation may require outside assistance, organization, or resources, the Village asks that requests be made to the ADA Coordinator at least five (5) calendar days before the need for accommodation.

If you are a person with a disability and you have trouble using this web site, would like to request a face-to-face meeting with someone on our staff, or experience difficulty using any of our services or facilities, please complete the Complaint of Discrimination Form or contact the ADA Coordinator by phone or email. The Village will respond to the complaint within thirty (30) calendar days and will take reasonable steps to resolve the matter.
