Adventures begin as campers participate in wildlife-themed Snapology STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) enrichment summer camp.
Ages 5 to 7 - Snapology invites little zoologists to explore the fundamentals of robotics, build moving animals like monkeys and gators, and learn where they live and why an animal's habitat is important for survival. Campers will analyze the differences between vertebrates and invertebrates, construct their way through the butterfly and frog life cycle, and build a variety of reptiles. Through stories, games, and hands-on experience with DUPLO blocks and K'NEX pieces, campers will be busy exploring world biomes while gaining critical social and developmental skills.
Ages 8 to 12 - Animal lovers will go on a wildlife adventure by creating animal-inspired robotic models. Campers will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build insects, snakes, and gorillas. Whether learning about animal habitats or discovering how gears and pulleys create movement, children will have a wild time as they build, learn, and play.
