March 19 Village Council Meeting Advance

The Village Council will hear measures that include the installation and maintenance of decorative street lighting within existing roundabouts on SW 136 Street and adopting parking restrictions along Southwest 57 Avenue from Southwest 102 Street to Southwest 101 Street.

The meeting will be held at 6 pm, Tuesday, March 19 at the Pinecrest Municipal Center, 12645 Pinecrest Parkway, third floor. A live stream video link will be available once the meeting is called to order. Public comments on agenda items may be submitted via e-mail to council@pinecrest-fl.gov. Members of the public may participate in person but are also able to participate via the ZOOM platform. If you wish to comment during the meeting via ZOOM, please send a request to clerk@pinecrest-fl.gov. The deadline to register for the next meeting is Tuesday, March 19 at noon. March 19 Village Council Meeting Advance
- The Village Council will hear a resolution accepting the auditor’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for 2022-2023.
- The Village Council will hear a resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into an interlocal agreement with Miami Dade County to allow the installation and maintenance of decorative street lighting within existing roundabouts improvement project.
- The Village Council will hear a resolution authorizing the Village Manager to execute an agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for landscape maintenance of Pinecrest Parkway (US 1).
- The Village Council will hear a resolution waiving the competitive bid requirements and authorizing the Village Manager to negotiate and enter into an agreement with Frontier Building for Suniland Park parking lot restoration.
- The Village Council will hear a resolution approving and accepting dedication by right-of-way maintenance map of a portion of Southwest 88 Street 900 feet +/= West of 57 Avenue by operation of law in accordance with section 95.361, Florida Statutes.
- The Village Council will hear a resolution authorizing the Village Manager to execute an interlocal agreement with Miami-Dade County for receipt of $500,000 from GOB bond proceeds for the Potable Water Project.
- The Village Council will hear a resolution adopting parking restrictions along Southwest 57 Avenue from Southwest 102 Street to Southwest 101 Street.
- The Village Council will hear a resolution adopting parking restrictions along Southwest 64 Court from Southwest 88 Street to Southwest 92 Street.
- The Village Council will hear a resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into a contract with A.M.I. Engineering for general engineering and architectural services.
- The Village Council will hear an ordinance amending the Pinecrest code of Ordinances, Chapter 30, Land Development Regulations, by revising Article 4, Zoning District Regulations, Division 4.4, Public and Semipublic Services (PS) District Regulations; and Article 5, Additional Regulations, Division 5.5, Fences, Walls, and Hedges.
- The Village Council will hear a resolution authorizing participation in a lawsuit seeking a declaration that the provisions of Section 112.144(1)(D), Florida Statutes, that require municipal elected officials to file Form 6 Financial Disclosure forms is unconstitutional and invalid.
