Clerk

The Village Clerk provides secretariat services for the Village Council, the Local Planning Agency, the Zoning Board, and the Municipal Corporation.

The Village Clerk is a charter official and reports to the Village Council.

The Village Clerk is responsible for giving notice of public meetings and maintaining an accurate record of all proceedings. The Village Clerk also serves as the municipal Supervisor of Elections, administers the publication of the Village Code and Charter, and maintains custody of the Village's vital records including agreements, contracts, minutes, ordinances, proclamations, and resolutions.

Priscilla Torres, MMC 

Priscilla Torres, MMC, was appointed by the Village IMG_0109 (ret & crop 8X12-300 DPI).jpg Council to serve as the second Village Clerk of the Village of Pinecrest on January 11, 2022. Ms. Torres previously served as the Assistant Village Clerk of the Village of Pinecrest from 2008 to 2022, and Permit Clerk for the Building Department from 2007 to 2008. Ms. Torres is a graduate of Florida International University (Miami, Florida) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Public Administration (2021). She is an active member of the Florida Association of City Clerks (FACC) and International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC). Ms. Torres is a Master Municipal Clerk (MMC). She is also an active member of the Miami-Dade County Municipal Clerks Association (MDCMCA) where she served as president from 2014 to 2016.
