Lacrosse

For girls and boys in grades 1 through High School.  Miami Stone Crabs is a member of the South Florida Youth Lacrosse League. It is the longest running youth league in the state where teams can compete against other parks in a traditional league setting. The Miami Stone Crabs organize teams to compete against similarly structured recreation teams throughout the tri-county area.  Summer travel teams begin training in May and are geared for players interested in more competition and advancing their knowledge of the game while representing Miami at the top tournaments in the Southeast US.  For more information about the Miami Stone Crabs, visit their website at Miami Stone Crabs.

Baseball

Howard Palmetto Baseball & Softball Association (HPBSA) is the largest recreational baseball league in South Florida. Bringing the neighborhood together through sports is what HPBSA has been all about since 1962. For more information visit Howard Palmetto Baseball-Softball Association website.

Football and Cheerleading

Pinecrest Parks and Recreation Partners with multiple soccer associations to provide soccer training to youth at all levels of play. 

Super Soccer Stars - For boys and girls ages 2 through 10, the department hosts training programs lead by Super Soccer Stars.  Super Soccer Stars’ goal is to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Every class follows the philosophy of using soccer to nurture, build self-confidence, and develop teamwork skills. Miami Premier - For girls ages 8 through 17.  Miami Premier Soccer Club was established in 1998.  At Miami Premier, it’s ALL ABOUT THE GIRL’s.  Miami Premier offers a year-round training program designed to maximize individual talent within a team concept for girls ages U9 thru U18. Pinecrest Premier - For girls and boys ages 8 through 17.  Pinecrest Premier Soccer operates as a youth soccer league, with a mission to teach basic skills in a fun and educational environment. Tennis

For boys and girls of all ages.  The David Ensignia Tennis Academy (DETA) is designed to meet each tennis player's optimal potential.  Understanding the current stages in a player's tennis career, The David Ensignia Tennis Academy has built a program that will successfully take each athlete's game to the next level and prepare them for the challenges they may face on the road to success.  In order to develop these results, DETA has employed a group of coaches and trained professionals to help athletes develop, both on and off the court.
