Zombie Run

Pinecrest Community Center

Dodge zombies for 1.3 miles, and then it's time to party! The Zombie Run and Monster Mash After-Party is on Saturday, 10/19 at 6:15 p.m. We will start at the Pinecrest Community Center and celebrate at Coral Pine Park. There will be a Monster Mash group dance, 40-foot zombie maze, live DJ and more spooky family-fun. Food and beer from Shula Burger, Mr. PB&J, and Snow Caps Shaved Ice will be available for purchase. There will be a shuttle service from the Pinecrest Community Center to Coral Pine Park. Runners will receive an event t-shirt and flags to wear around their waist for the Zombie Run.

Want to skip the run and head straight to the party? Celebrate with us at Coral Pine Park! There will be a Monster Mash group dance, 40-foot zombie maze, live DJ and more spooky family-fun. Food and beer from Shula Burger, Mr. PB&J, and Snow Caps Shaved Ice will be available for purchase. There will be a shuttle service from the Pinecrest Community Center to Coral Pine Park.  There will be police presence throughout the event. 

Track or Treat
October 31st, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. | Evelyn Greer Park
All ghosts, goblins, witches, and friends are invited to go “track” or treating in a safe and friendly atmosphere. During this annual Halloween event, the Parks and Recreation Department provides bounce houses, not-so-spooky games, costume contests and prizes, while local businesses provide treats for everyone. This is a free event. Overflow parking and shuttle transportation available at Suniland Park.

Veterans Day
Monday, November 11th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. | Veterans Wayside Park
Pinecrest honors those who served. We invite you to salute our brave Veterans and Gold Star Families with an Honor Guard presentation, patriotic music, and a complimentary picnic lunch. Veterans and their families are encouraged to attend.
 
Pinecrest Pioneer Holiday Luncheon
Friday, December 6th, 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. | Leslie Bowe Hall at Evelyn Greer Park
Pinecrest residents age 80 and better are cordially invited to the biannual Pinecrest Pioneer Luncheon. Guests will enjoy a holiday-themed feast, a special musical performance, and remarks by Mayor Joseph M. Corradino. Invitees may bring a guest.
