Your Voice, Your Village - Conversations with Council: October 8
Published on September 15, 2026
Join Vice Mayor Fairman for Conversations with Council
Pinecrest is inviting residents to pull up a chair, share their thoughts, and help chart the Village's future.
On Thursday, October 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Evelyn Greer Park, Vice Mayor Ken Fairman will host the next Conversations with Council, a free, open-floor event where residents talk directly with one of their elected leaders about the issues shaping daily life in Pinecrest.
The evening kicks off with a casual meet-and-greet, featuring Police Chief Jason Cohen, Parks & Recreation Director Robert Mattes, and Public Works Director David Mendez. It's a great chance to connect names and faces to the roads, parks, and public safety work that the Village relies on every day. From there, the floor opens up as Vice Mayor Fairman invites residents to share their questions, ideas, and perspectives on what matters most to them.
Conversations with Council reflects what Pinecrest is all about, a local government that listens, and a community that looks out for one another. These events support the Village's strategic priorities of maintaining efficient and effective governance through citizen engagement, fostering social connectivity and public wellbeing.
The Village is dedicated to enhancing quality of life while working to ensure every resident’s access to resources and opportunities. Past Conversations with Council events have led to new ideas, real solutions, and stronger ties between residents and their government. This is your chance to be part of the next one.
