The Village Council discussed the following actions during the February Council Meeting.

  • Re-appointment of Special Magistrates - Approved:
    A resolution ratifying the re-appointment of special magistrates/hearing officers pursuant to Section 2-141 of the Code of Ordinances. For more information,visit Tab 2.
  • Pinecrest Gardens Admission Fees - Approved:
    A resolution amending the Pinecrest Gardens admission fee schedule. For more information,visit Tab 3.
  • Stormwater System Cleaning - Approved:
    A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into a contract with Flotech Environmental, LLC. for stormwater system cleaning. For more information,visit Tab 4.
  • Speed Limit Amendments - Approved on First Reading:
    An ordinance amending Section 36-1(c) of the Code of Ordinances to reduce the speed limit from 35 mph to 30 mph on all arterial and collector roads within the Village. For more information,visit Tab 5.
  • Red Light Cameras - Approved:
    A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with RedSpeed for the installation and operation of red light cameras at all major intersections along 67th Avenue. For more information,visit Tab 12.
  • Parking Variance - Approved:
    A quasi-judicial hearing regarding a request for a parking variance at 8935 Pinecrest Parkway to allow 15 parking spaces where 20 are required. For more information,visit Tab 13.
