The Village of Pinecrest congratulates Shannon del Prado, who was elected Mayor without opposition, and Ralph Sanchez, who was elected to Council Seat 3.
Village Council Seat 4 (At-Large) will go to a runoff election. Under Section 2.6 of the Village Charter, a candidate must receive more than 50% of the total ballots cast to win in the General Election. Because no candidate reached that threshold, the two top vote-getters, Ken Fairman and Jill Lerner, will advance to the runoff election, scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2026. All residents are encouraged to participate in this election and make their voices heard.
Results are available from the Supervisor of Elections of Miami-Dade County (view election results). Please note: All results are preliminary and unofficial until provisional ballots and cure affidavits are reviewed and the Canvassing Board certifies the official results.
The Village thanks every voter who participated and every candidate who stepped forward. Public service takes commitment, and we are grateful for their willingness to serve.
Look out for more details about the runoff election to be announced soon.
