March Council Meeting Agenda

The Village Council will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 10, at 6 pm at the Pinecrest Municipal Center, 12645 Pinecrest Parkway, third floor.A live stream video linkwill be available once the meeting is called to order.

Public comments on agenda items may be submitted via email atcouncil@pinecrest-fl.gov. Community members may participate in person or via Zoom. If you want to comment during the meeting via Zoom, please send a request toclerk@pinecrest-fl.gov. The deadline to register for the next meeting is Tuesday, March 10, at noon.

The Village Council will hear the following items during theMarch Council Meeting:

• Entrance Feature Agreement:A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into an intergovernmental agreement for the installation and maintenance of an entrance feature within existing roundabouts. For more information,visit Tab 2.
• Pinecrest Gardens Interpretive Signage:A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with Signs For You, Inc. for interpretative signs at Pinecrest Gardens. For more information,visit Tab 3.
• Pinecrest Gardens Splash Pad:A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with Robertson Recreational Surfaces for the Pinecrest Gardens splash pad resurface project. For more information,visit Tab 4.
• Professional Engineering Services:A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into a contract with BCC Engineering, LLC for professional engineering services. For more information,visit Tab 5.
• Ludlam Pedestrian Bridge:A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into a Joint Participation Agreement with Miami-Dade County for the Ludlam Pedestrian Bridge at SW 67th Avenue over the C-2 Canal project. For more information,visit Tab 6.
• Bridge Conversion Design:A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with BCC Engineering for professional engineering services for a pedestrian bridge conversion. For more information,visit Tab 7.
• Roadway Design (Bet Shira Project):A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into a contract with Choice Engineering Consultants, Inc. for roadway design of the SW 120 Street and SW 77 Avenue intersection. For more information,visit Tab 8.
• Police Officer Collective Bargaining Agreement:A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to execute the collective bargaining agreement with the South Florida Police Benevolent Association ("PBA") (Police Officers' Unit) expiring September 30, 2028. For more information,visit Tab 9.
• Police Sergeants Collective Bargaining Agreement:A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to execute the collective bargaining agreement with the South Florida Police Benevolent Association ("PBA") (Sergeants' Unit) expiring September 30, 2028. For more information,visit Tab 10.
• Amending Village Speed Limits:An ordinance on second reading and public hearing amending Section 36-1(c) of the Code of Ordinances relating to speed limits in the Village of Pinecrest. For more information,visit Tab 11.
• Opposing Senate Bill 1134:A resolution urging the Florida Legislature to oppose Senate Bill 1134 relating to anti-diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) measures. For more information,visit Tab 16.
• 2024-2025 Annual Financial Report:A resolution accepting the Auditor's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for 2024-2025. For more information,visit Tab 17.
