Our Code Compliance team helps keep Pinecrest safe, healthy, and well maintained by ensuring properties meet Village code and zoning requirements. They address complaints, issue correction notices, educate the public, and assist residents and businesses in resolving violations.
You can help by:
Ensuring your yard is properly maintained and free of trash, litter, and overgrown vegetation.
Keeping trees properly trimmed to prevent hazardous conditions and potential power outages.
Placing bulky waste within the right-of-way in a manner that does not create visual obstructions.
Removing mildew conditions from fences, structures, and roofs.
Bringing in garbage and recycling bins in on the same day as pick up and storing them behind the front building line of your property.
Ensuring your landscape company is registered with the Village (contact Code Compliance for a list of registered landscapers).
Storing boats and recreation vehicles in their designated locations.
Preventing mosquito breeding by following the “Drain, Cover, and Protect” guidelines.
Not leaving food unattended as it may attract peafowl and other wildlife.
Not feeding peafowl as it's prohibited.
