Join Us In Celebrating Mayor Corradino's 24 Years of Service

Published on October 20, 2026

Some leaders hold an office. Others help define a community.

On Thursday, October 29, Pinecrest will gather to honor Mayor Joseph M. Corradino for 24 years of service to the Village of Pinecrest, which he has called home for three decades.

Pinecrest was not yet a municipality when Joe Corradino first came to the area for work. He found the Village to be one of the most beautiful places in Miami-Dade County, so he moved in and began raising a family here.

One of Corradino's first jobs, was to help the newly forming Village write its first comprehensive plan, the blueprint for how a community will grow and develop.

He went on to serve on the Planning and Zoning Board and then the Village Council, as a council member, before being elected Mayor in 2016. Today he is the longest-serving Mayor in Pinecrest's history.
