January Village Council Meeting Advance

The Village Council will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, January 20, at 6 pm at the Pinecrest Municipal Center, 12645 Pinecrest Parkway, third floor. A live stream link will be available once the meeting is called to order.

Public comments on agenda items may be submitted via email to council@pinecrest-fl.gov. Community members may participate in person or via Zoom. Residents who wish to comment during the meeting via Zoom must request access by emailing clerk@pinecrest-fl.gov no later than Tuesday, January 20, at noon.

Agenda Highlights

The January meeting agenda includes consideration of the following items:

• Awarding a bid for the Pinecrest Community Center food and beverage concession
• Authorizing an agreement for the Pinecrest Municipal Center elevator modernization project
• Approving agreements for landscape and turf maintenance with the Florida Department of Transportation
• Appointments to the Friends of Pinecrest Gardens Board of Directors
• Acceptance of a donation for a baseball fence from the Howard Palmetto Baseball Softball Association
• Authorizing an agreement with Florida Power and Light for underground utility conversions at Aleyda Mas Park
• Support for hands-free phone use legislation (HB 1241 and SB 1152)
• Authorizing an agreement for speed enforcement cameras
• Authorizing an agreement for design concepts and cost estimates related to the Pinecrest Gardens Avian Project
• A public hearing regarding a conditional use permit request for Sergio’s Restaurant to allow on-premise consumption of beer, wine, and spirits
