Heads Up, Pinecrest: 30 MPH Speed Limit Now in Effect

The Village reminds residents and visitors that a 30 mph speed limit is now in effect on certain roads in Pinecrest. The change is consistent with Sections 316.183 and 316.189, Florida Statutes, which establish a maximum speed limit of 30 mph within municipalities.
The new speed limits support the Village’s ongoing efforts to promote safer, more consistent travel for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.
These areas are being monitored. They include:
• SW 72 Avenue from US 1 to SW 136 Street (Howard Drive)
• SW 77 Avenue (Palmetto Road) from SW 104 Street to SW 136 Street
• SW 67 Avenue (Ludlam Road) from SW 88 Street (Kendall Drive) to SW 136 Street
• SW 104 Street (Lombardy Street) from SW 57 Avenue (Red Road) to US 1
• SW 120 Street (Montgomery Drive) from SW 57 Avenue (Red Road) to US 1
• SW 124 Street (Chapman Field Drive) from US 1 to Old Cutler Road
• SW 112 Street (Killian Drive) from US 1 to SW 57 Avenue
