February Council Meeting Advance

The Village Council will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 10, at 6 pm at the Pinecrest Municipal Center, 12645 Pinecrest Parkway, third floor. A live stream link will be available once the meeting is called to order.

Public comments on agenda items may besubmitted via email tocouncil@pinecrest-fl.gov. Community members mayparticipate in person or via Zoom. Residents who wish to comment during the meeting via Zoom must request access by emailingclerk@pinecrest-fl.gov no later than Tuesday, February 10, at noon.

Agenda Highlights

The Village Council will hear the following items during theFebruary Council Meeting:

• Re-appointment of Special Magistrates: 
  A resolution ratifying the re-appointment of special magistrates/hearing officerspursuant to Section 2-141 of the Code of Ordinances. For more information, visit Tab 2.

• Pinecrest Gardens Admission Fees: 
  A resolution amending the Pinecrest Gardens admission fee schedule. For more information, visit Tab 3.

• Stormwater System Cleaning: 
  A resolution authorizing the Village Manager toenter into a contract with Flotech Environmental, LLC. for stormwater system cleaning. For more information, visit Tab 4.

• Speed Limit Amendments (First Reading): 
  An ordinance amending Section 36-1(c) of the Code of Ordinances relating to speed limits within the Village, providing for severability. For more information, visit Tab 5.

• Red Light Cameras:
  A resolution authorizing the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with RedSpeed for red light cameras. For more information, visit Tab 12.

• Parking Variance:
  A quasi-judicial hearing regarding a request for a parking variance at 8935 Pinecrest Parkway to allow 15 parking spaces where 20 arerequired. For more information, visit Tab 13.
