New Permit Law Affects Some Residential Projects

Beginning July 1, 2026, new Florida Law HB 803 changes how some residential qualifying construction projects are reviewed throughout the state and aims to simplify the permitting process. By reducing certain permitting requirements for minor residential projects, the law aims to help homeowners save time and money.

Single-Lane Closure on SW 124 St for Bridge Repairs

🚧 Traffic Advisory: Beginning Monday, July 20, a single lane on SW 124th Street will be closed for the Chapman Field Bridge Repair Project. Work includes guardrail, asphalt deck, and concrete repairs, along with new signage installation.
