Public Notice for Rebuild Florida Infrastructure Repair Program
The Village of Pinecrest plans to apply for Rebuild Florida Infrastructure Repair Program (CFHP) funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address unmet disaster recovery needs related to damage from Hurricane Irma. The Village of Pinecrest anticipates applying for a total of twelve million dollars ($12,000,000) in funding through the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery CDBG-DR Program. Applications are due in the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) no later than June 30, 2020.
Application Details: Hardening of Potable Water System, estimated cost $12,000,000
Scope includes hardening of overall potable water system by connecting 750 homes and providing for fire hydrants in those areas.

Comments from the public must be received no later than 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2020. All comments will be considered and proposed changes will be submitted to DEO.
Information relating to the proposed project and application is available for review between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Village of Pinecrest, Village Hall located at 12645 Pinecrest Parkway, Pinecrest, Florida 33156
Any non-English speaking person wishing to provide a response to this public notice should contact the Public Works Director at least five calendar days prior to June 30, 2020 and a language interpreter will be provided.
