 Safer at Home

 

  • Pinecrest Police have necessary equipment to protect themselves and continue patrolling and responding to calls.  911 has implemented new protocol provided by Fire Rescue to assess a caller’s health and the information is relayed to a responding officer on regular calls. All medical calls are only being responded to by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
  • Pinecrest Community Center is closed until further notice. 
  • Parks have reopened with restrictions but ALL programming and organized activities are cancelled until further notice. Please check the department's page for details on parks, hours and rules.
  • Pinecrest Gardens has reopened with restrictions but ALL programs and events are cancelled. Check the department's page for details.
  • The Building & Planning Department continues processing permits and inspections. Please check the department’s page for details. 
  • All face-to-face meetings are suspended and instead staff and public are encouraged to communicate via telephone or email.
  • Pinecrest Municipal Center remains closed to the public until further notice. If you need to contact staff, please do so by e-mail or calling 305.234.2121.
