The Pinecrest Police Department permits off-duty police work for private individuals at a rate of $48 per hour with a three (3) hour minimum per officer with no guarantee that an officer will be available when requested. The hiring of a Police Officer does not exempt the off-duty client from any state law, county ordinance or Village code. Specifically, noise and parking violations will not be tolerated. Should a violation occur and the client refuses to correct the violation, the off-duty officer will depart the location and the client will be billed for all applicable hours. Your cooperation in avoiding these potential conflict of interest issues is appreciated. Please fill out the form below and submit at least seven (7) days prior to the event. A check for the appropriate amount, payable to the Village of Pinecrest, 12645 Pinecrest Parkway, Pinecrest, FL, must be submitted prior to the processing of the application or scheduling of an officer. Please call the Pinecrest Police Department at 305.234.2100 48 hours prior to the event to confirm if an officer has volunteered to work at your event. The Pinecrest Police Department reserves the right to cancel any off-duty assignment without prior notice due to unforeseen emergencies.
