LEARNING CULTURE THROUGH DRUMS
Mondays, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., April 1 through May 20

Students will discover the rich cultural melting pot that Miami is through the fun art of percussion, and perform together at the end of the session! Each month, the class will dive into a style and region of the Caribbean and Latin America. Presented by the South Florida Center for Percussive Arts.

Learn how to draw more confidently. Leave your left brain behind! You can easily learn the secrets of professionals in this course taught by Marge Feldman. All you need is the desire. Try the two-day preview course to help you decide if the 8-week course is right for you.

The program is designed for adults who would like to learn conversational Spanish.

Students will learn salsa and merengue steps and turns in an easy and fun way. It is an excellent cardio exercise and it helps to improve coordination and memory.
ADULT BASIC BALLET
Tuesdays, 12:00 noon to 1:15 p.m., , March 19 through May 21
$120 for 10 classes or $14 per class
Whether you’ve never danced ballet before or it’s been a long time, join us for this fun class. Develop your musicality, flexibility, strength and grace. Class includes simple barre exercises and ballet workout routines.
Tuesdays, April 2 through June 18
Beginner at 6:00 p.m., Intermediate at 7:00 p.m., Advanced at 8:00 p.m.
$75 for 12 weeks, $10 discount for 2 classes
No experience required, however, having fun is mandatory! These fun-filled classes will teach the basic patterns and steps for line dancing. You will be dancing as part of the group, but will individualize your dance moves as you learn.
Monday through Saturday, Class times vary from 2:15 to 8:00 p.m.
SharpMinds Music Academy offers keyboard music lessons using the internationally-reputed Yamaha Music Education System. Founder and Director, Patricia Englehardt, Ph.D., aims to provide quality music education to all ages.

Sharp Minds Music Academy now offers guitar lessons. Students will learn guitar under the instruction of James Woolwine, an award-winning guitarist and pianist, and cumlaude graduate from the prestigious Berklee College of Music.
Fridays, times vary between 3:30 and 6:00 p.m., February through May

Individual 30-minute voice lessons led by Alex Brandenburg. Alex has performed in major concert series such as the Stanford Jazz Festival and Jazz Roots at the Adrienne Arsht Center. She has also directed and instructed musical plays and concerts. Select your time slot today!
