The functions of the Village government are carried out by its various officials and departments.  The mayor and Village Council appoint the Village’s charter officers which include the Village Manager, Village Clerk and Village Attorney.

All other departments operate under the supervision of the Village Manager.  The Village’s Code of Ordinances (Chapter 2 - Article IV) provides for the establishment of the following departments:

· Building and Planning

· Finance

· Parks and Recreation

· Police

· Public Works
